At mbudo we want to continue sharing with you the latest announcements from HubSpot in the past two months. We guarantee that these new features will help streamline many of your daily tasks.
HubSpot product updates
1. Creating Reports with Customer Journey Analytics
With this new functionality, HubSpot now allows you to identify the impact of each interaction a contact has with your company. These types of reports can help you identify which actions are most effective in attracting leads.
From the reporting tool in HubSpot, you can add specific customer journey stages to analyze. Some of the most common properties include:
- Ads
- CTAs
- Forms
- Marketing emails
- Sales emails
- Web pages
- etc.
If your company aims to enhance the customer experience and optimize the buying process, Customer Journey Analysis is an essential tool that you should incorporate into your marketing strategy.
This functionality is available for Marketing Hub Enterprise licenses.
2. Color-coded Deal Tags
To categorize, filter, and select businesses more efficiently within the pipeline, HubSpot has just introduced colored labels for deals.
These labels are assigned through logic, for example, with a label for "large deals" for those whose value is above a certain amount. They can also be used in conjunction with filters and reports. Currently, it is possible to add up to 10 different labels.
This feature is now available for all hubs in the public beta.
3. Deals/Ticket creation form based on pipeline
Just as not all pipelines are the same, the properties that appear in the creation form should not be the same for everyone.
From now on, it is possible to customize the creation form for deals or tickets based on the selected pipeline.
Currently, this feature is available for all plans starting from Pro.
4. Setting up multiple Knowledge Bases within a Single Account
HubSpot has released a new functionality that allows managing Multiple Knowledge Bases within a single account.
This new feature enables HubSpot customers with Service Hub Enterprise license to share differentiated information among different products, brands, or business areas.
Currently, it is available for all plans starting from Service Hub Enterprise plan.
5. Custom Properties in Marketing Campaigns
HubSpot has just improved its marketing campaigns tool, now allowing the creation and management of custom properties and custom property groups. You can create any type of property, except for calculated and scored properties.
It's also possible to create saved views and filters and customize the required properties in the campaign creation form. Additionally, they can be measured with the custom report builder.
This update is in public beta and will be available for portals with Marketing Hub Pro and higher
6. Default settings for account with email extension
Setting up individual email extensions can often be a hassle for HubSpot users, but with this new addition, super administrators can now configure default settings for the entire account. This way, all sent emails can be automatically logged and tracked.
This update is currently in public beta and is free for all users using the Outlook or Gmail email extension.
7. Restoring deleted products
Before this update, it was not possible to restore deleted products. It might be a problem when we accidentally deleted products that had many completed custom properties. With this update, HubSpot adds a recycle bin to this section so that deleted products can be recovered.
8. Generating a random sample from any list
Now HubSpot allows you to create segments with a specific number of contacts or a percentage of the total contacts in a list. This feature is very useful for conducting A/B tests with smaller samples from the same list. It is now available for all plans.
9. Log out after 24 hours of inactivity
To enhance the security of accounts, HubSpot will automatically log out after more than one day of inactivity in the portal. This way, potential security breaches are prevented if a computer is lost or stolen.
We would be happy to speak with you if you need more information. Feel free to contact us for further details!
