The end of the year is the ideal time to look back and reflect on the year we've had. That's why we're going to share the top 5 Inbound Marketing trends of next year, so you can be better prepared!
1. ABM (Account Based Marketing)
ABM has come to revolutionize the traditional Inbound Marketing methodology. It's about designing strategies tailored to a specific account, placing more emphasis on personalization, engaging heavily with the potential lead, and where Sales-Marketing alignment and teamwork is more key than ever. This article explains Account Based Marketing pretty well. Wondering how to do ABM in HubSpot? Read here!
2. AI (Artificial Intelligence)
There has been a lot of talk about this topic. The use of Artificial Intelligence in Marketing strategies has begun to expand rapidly. It's among us more than we realize: Netflix recommendations, Instagram advertising, chatbots, algorithms and machine learning, to name a few. Of course, some AI isn't that well-developed yet or may exist where it's not needed…
3. User Generated Content (UGC)
This goes back to the topic of the Cluetrain Manifesto, which is 20 years old... but it remains true. We like talking to people, not companies, and we like the content that people generate. We believe people. Taking this one step further, Inbound Marketing trends have changed from “official influencers”, almost always paid by the brands, to “micro influencers”, niche experts.
4. Podcasts
This is not really a new Marketing trend, but in 2019 this trend has gradually started to reach Spain. Podcasts are pretty common in Anglo-Saxon markets, but they still haven't hit hard here yet.
5. All in one
Set up, integration, automation… everything that involves using more than one Digital Marketing solution is becoming annoying and obsolete. Manufacturers are making platforms more functional or creating connectors: they're making things easier than ever for Marketers. Take HubSpot, for example; it's an all-in-one platform for Inbound Marketing, Sales, Service, and more!
Even large corporations, with deep budgets, tend to adopt solutions that facilitate reporting and functionality rather than having business assets and intelligence spread across several solutions.
We listed 5 Marketing trends for next year, but it could have easily been 55. The world of Marketing never stops...If you want to learn more about Inbound Marketing strategy and tactics, read this post. If you are looking for a partner in Inbound, contact mbudo.
